CARE

Before first use:
Roll the play mat in the opposite direction then lay it flat to allow the mat to relax.

To maintain the XL mat:
Clean it only with lukewarm water and/or mild soap. Dry thoroughly after cleaning.

Detergents, solvents, waxes, and other products are to be avoided.

Heavy and/or sharp objects, as well as animal paws and/or claws, can damage or harm the mat.

Once shipped, for delivery:

What a pleasure

What a pleasure to be able to lie down next to baby to play without having a butt out of the mattress or legs! We enjoy the firm and molteneu comfort of the play mat.
My grown-ups read about it or take the opportunity to improve their rolls and I can do my yoga at baby’s side!

Very practical play mat

I applaud the quality and practicality of the carpet (thick to cushion movements and insulate from the ground, easily cleanable without removing, durable,...) it is ideal for creating a beautiful play area for children. But I find the colors a little dull and it did not fit in my living room which has a lot of fabrics and warm colors.

I recommend this playmat, which is very good quality. My baby loves and develops his motor skills better than on a fabric rug . It is a memory of form and it is tres pleasant when tone and on top. The patterns are very pretty and whether it is in a bedroom or in a living room it is very pretty.

What is the difference between the XL and the foldable?

The XL rug is made for a permanent, spacious, and secure space at home. With its 200 x 140 cm, it stays in place and offers optimal comfort for children.

The foldable rug, on the other hand, is a portable and modular rug! You can take it anywhere thanks to its tote bag, use it flat, against a wall, or as a pouf, depending on your needs. It is ideal for small spaces or for those who like to change their layout easily.

How to maintain it?

Maintenance of the tapilou XL is very simple!

  • Daily cleaning: A wipe with a damp sponge and water is enough to remove small stains and keep the mat clean.
  • To avoid: Do not use abrasive products or solvents that could damage the coating.
  • Long-term maintenance: To extend its lifespan, avoid prolonged exposure to the sun and store it flat or rolled up if you are not using it for a while.

My XL rug slips, what to do?

The tapilou XL is designed to be stable, but depending on the type of floor (smooth parquet, tiles, etc.), it may slip slightly.

Our advice to avoid this:

  • Clean the floor: Make sure your floor is clean and dry, as dust or moisture can reduce the mat's grip.
  • Place some slightly heavy toys on the corners to keep it in place.
  • Install it against a wall or furniture to prevent it from moving.
