CARE

Before first use:
Roll the playmat in the opposite direction and then lay it flat to allow the mat to relax.

To care for the L playmat:
Clean it only with lukewarm water and/or mild soap. Dry thoroughly after cleaning.

Detergents, solvents, waxes and other products should be avoided.

Heavy and/or sharp objects, as well as animal paws and/or claws, can damage or ruin the carpet.

What is the difference between the L and the foldable one?

The Tapilou L is a fixed playmat measuring 140 x 100 cm , ideal for creating a cozy space on the floor. It's the mini version of the XL!

The folding playmat, on the other hand, is a portable and adaptable mat! You can take it anywhere thanks to its tote bag, use it flat, against a wall, or as a pouf , depending on your needs. It's ideal for small spaces or for those who like to easily rearrange their furniture.

What is the difference between L and XL?

The Tapilou L and Tapilou XL are identical in terms of comfort , quality , and patterns : only the size differs! The L ( 140 x 100 cm ) is perfect for small spaces and cozy play areas, while the XL ( 200 x 140 cm ) offers a large playing area for movement and family fun. Choose the size that best suits your home!

How to maintain it?

Maintaining the Tapilou L is very simple!

  • Daily cleaning : A wipe with a damp sponge and water is enough to remove small stains and keep the rug clean.
  • Avoid : Do not use abrasive products or solvents that could damage the coating.
  • Long-term care : To prolong its lifespan, avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and store it flat or rolled up if you are not using it for a while.

My large playmat is slipping, what should I do?

The Tapilou L is designed to be stable, but depending on the type of floor (smooth parquet, tiles, etc.), it may slip slightly.

Our advice to avoid this :

  • Clean the floor : Make sure your floor is clean and dry, as dust or moisture can reduce the carpet's grip.
  • Place some slightly heavy toys on the corners to hold it in place.
  • Place it against a wall or piece of furniture to prevent it from moving.
